We know this is Chardonnay and apparently not so many of you are enjoying Chardonnays anymore and to be really honest I don't understand why. Gone are those awful Chardonnays from South East Australia that we saw in the 90's with their over blown fruits and excessive amounts of oak. I kid you not, this is a Chardonnay that all of you Sauvignon Blanc drinkers would love, clean, crisp and dry with plenty of up front fruits of melons and pear with a subtle hint of spicy vanillan notes. Fresh and lean with intense flavours, a really enjoyable wine for those warm evenings at home eating fresh sea food and salads.
