Tasmania has developed over the last couple of years a reputation for producing some of the fines sparkling wine outside of Champagne and in our opinion this is the very best that Tasmania has to offer. It may not be as famous as other wines from the region but in a taste taste last year against all the leading Champagne house and the very best that Australia could muster, this wine not only out performed everything in its price bracket it was voted the best sparkling wine of the whole tasting. A classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with extended lees contact of 7-8 years depending on vintage.
