We have been tasting this wine since the 1997 vintage and it has consistently performed well above its price point. A blend Sangiovese and its traditional blending partner Ciliegolo this is a semi-modern twist on Chianti and displays ripe red cherry fruits and those classic Tuscan dusty tannins. A lovely balanced wine that should help to widen the appeal of Italian wines in Australia.
