11th May 2008 Finally got the first batch of products uploaded, now to the serious stuff of wine blogging. Still based in Zurich, last week had a chance to taste the 1999 Chateau Latour up against the Domaine A Cab Sauv 2000. Well considering that the Latour was bought for $550 it was incredible to see that the Domaine A was far more impressive. Not just my point of view but everyone else's in the room which included six of the major wine buyers for the University of Cambridge colleges. My ratings are Latour 1999 ($550) 93 points / Domaine A Cab Sauv 2000 ($66) 95 points

10th May 2008 After around six months in the planning, well the serious type of planning we have finally launched winepod II. Any one who saw the original site will know why we took it off the air but today's site has been designed to offer our customers a real time opportunity to purchase wine from us at great prices. In the weeks to come we will fine tune the site and will offer some very exciting new products.
